Astoria Federal Banking Office
A 9,000 square foot banking office included an interior renovation as well as an upgrade of the HVAC, electrical and plumbing equipment. The renovation and infrastructure upgrade was performed in an occupied bank with no downtime to the facility.
The engineering design included the extension of the electrical services to both new and existing loads, a fire alarm system, an irrigation system, removal of fuel oil storage and modular boilers, installation of new roof-top equipment, installation of an ADA toilet facility and ATM lighting. Highlights of the design included, implementing occupancy sensors and a BMS system to maximize user comfort while minimizing energy usage.
